These Terms of Service apply to purchases and use of Grid Dash, a digital dashboard and companion toolset for SimHub. Grid Dash is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by SimHub.
Digital Product
Grid Dash is delivered digitally. Your purchase may include dashboard files, a downloader or bootstrapper, companion tools, license activation, and access to eligible updates. No physical goods are shipped.
License And Activation
A purchase grants a personal, non-transferable license for one active device at a time. Activation uses the order number and purchase email associated with the Shopify order. Activating Grid Dash on a new device transfers the license away from the previous device. Removing or deactivating the license from the active device frees that activation for reuse.
Each license allows up to 3 activations or device transfers per rolling year unless support grants an exception. Do not resell, share, lease, sublicense, publish, or distribute your license credentials or paid Grid Dash files.
Purchase Options And Update Access
- 1 Year Updates: includes activation and update access for one year from purchase or renewal.
- 5 Years Updates: includes activation and update access for five years from purchase or renewal.
- Lifetime Updates: includes activation and update eligibility for the lifetime of the Grid Dash product.
Existing activated installs keep working after a 1-year or 5-year update term ends for versions released during the covered term. If you install a newer-than-entitled version after your update term expires, Grid Dash may fall back to limited/free mode until you renew or reinstall your newest entitled paid version.
Requirements
Customers are responsible for having SimHub, a compatible Windows PC, supported game telemetry, and any local network access needed for phone, tablet, or second-screen use. Compatibility can vary by SimHub version, game, telemetry configuration, browser/device, and local network settings.
Updates, Services, And Availability
Grid Dash may use online services for activation, update checks, downloads, maps, shared layouts, creator features, or related functionality. These services may change, be limited, or be discontinued as the product evolves. We may release updates, fixes, or feature changes at our discretion.
Community Content
Grid Dash includes optional community features where you may share creations such as dashboard layouts, components, and themes. By sharing a creation you confirm that you created it or otherwise have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Shared creations are public and permanent. Once you publish a creation it is made available to other Grid Dash users and you cannot remove or unpublish it yourself. Grid Dash may delist, disable, modify, or remove shared content at its discretion, including for moderation, legal, or quality reasons.
By sharing a creation you grant Grid Dash a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, and create derivative works from it; to integrate it into Grid Dash (including default or bundled content in current or future versions); and to use it in marketing, promotional, and demonstration materials. Creations are attributed to your account display name, which is shown to other users. You retain ownership of your original creation, and this license does not require additional payment to you.
Downloaded creations remain credited to their original creator. You may not redistribute another creator's unchanged creation as your own; modified derivatives must preserve credit to the original creator. Do not share content that contains malware, illegal material, or another party's intellectual property without permission.
Acceptable Use
You may not reverse engineer licensing systems, bypass activation, redistribute paid files, share license credentials, use automated systems to abuse activation or download services, or use Grid Dash in a way that interferes with the service for other customers.
Support
Support is provided through the Contact page or other published support channels. For license or activation help, include your order number, purchase email, SimHub version, Grid Dash version, Windows version, and a short description of the issue.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms as Grid Dash, Shopify settings, licensing systems, or support processes change. Continued use of Grid Dash after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
